HA2 is CellarPro's condenser overheat alarm. It means the heat pulled from the cellar is not leaving the condenser: the coil or filter is dirty, the vents are blocked, the condenser fan is not turning, or the room behind the unit is too hot or too small. On a new installation CellarPro points first to ventilation and clearance; on a unit that has run fine for months, to a dirty coil. On the cellar side one fan pushes cool air across the racks; on the exhaust side, or in a split system's outdoor condenser, another throws the room's heat away. CellarPro suggests raising the minimum setpoint to 60°F until the heat passes. ### Does a CellarPro turn off its compressor during HA2? It depends on the model. On 3200 and 4200 VS units it is a standard protection that stops them until the condenser falls below 120°F; on 1800 units it is optional and CellarPro has to switch it on. ### Can a CellarPro split system show HA2? Yes.
