AL is KoolR's one alarm and its upper safety limit. When the room passes 72°F, the unit shuts down, beeps and blinks AL in turn with the temperature. The alarm is ignored for a cool-down period after plug-in or a reset, and the unit restarts and goes back to cycling once the room falls below 72°F. KoolR wine cellar cooling unit display What to do when AL shows on the wine cellar cooling unit ### Kind of code Temperature and alarms The controller saw the cellar go past a high or low limit and raised an alarm, sometimes holding the worst reading it logged while the house was empty. The reason can be as small as the cellar door left ajar after a tasting or a long outage, a room gaining heat from new lights or a sunny glass wall, or as serious as cooling that has stopped.
